Because the energized probe and the container wall form together like a capacitor, the probe insulator and the surrounding air become dielectric materials. When the air (dielectric constant is 1.0) is replaced by other material (dielectric constant>1.0), the change of capacitance value changes the impedance. This effect is measured by the circuit and then compared with the reference data established by the sensitivity setting (circuit).
Further more, by adding Driving-Shield and chopper circuit in RF Admittance tech, it can actualize separate measurement of impedance and capacitance.
